The Freinograph gives the concept of Car control another turn

The freinograph is a board computer placed in the cars of the school. As you can easily guess, it will especially be used when braking. It registers a great number of data and immediately shows the braking curve after the participant has braked. This curve gives the values of the speed regression, shows us how the participant has used the brakes and what he can improve with his car whether or not it is equipped with ABS.

Other fundamental elements will appear on the screen such as the reaction time, the distance covered during this reaction time, the braking distance and the total distance needed to stop the car.

The freinograph can also do scientific comparisons between the different kinds of braking, executed by the participants thanks to a speed readjustment on the basis chosen by the instructor.

The freinograph is also able to realise projections at other speeds in order to make the participant aware of the braking distance needed to stop the car if he drives at a speed of, for example, 140 km/h
